I’ve always been a huge fan of those crispy oatmeal cookies with the hard glaze on top… they’re so addictive! Now you can make them at home without all of the processed stuff! They’re easy to make and will be a hit with everyone!

  1. I made these cookies today. I really like them because they are something different to make for a Christmas treat. I put red and green sprinkles over the icing. My cookies don’t look like the photo. They are not flat but are rounded like a half snowball. I was wondering if one half tablespoon of baking powder was a lot, but decided to try it anyway. I actually prefer them rounded as a Christmas cookie. Thanks for this great old fashioned recipe.
