The Ultimate Holiday Gift Guide For Bakers

❶ KitchenAid 5-Qt. Artisan Series I use my stand mixer every day- it’s my workhorse! I love the paddle attachment with the scraper, the whisk along with the pasta cutters and ice cream bowl. I couldn’t imagine baking without it!

➋ OXO Good Grips Multi-purpose Stainless Steel Scraper & Chopper These handy tools are not just for cleaning off your kitchen counters. Yes they are for scraping off dough, but I also use mine for moving vegetables off my cutting board and into the pan, chopping bars and fudge, and creating perfectly even cuts.

➌ OXO Good Grips Medium Cookie ScoopIf you want evenly shaped cookies that are all the same size, this scoop is a must! I also like to use two scoops to fill cupcake liners too!

➍ Joy the Baker Homemade Decadence What’s not to love about this book?! All of Joy’s recipes are incredible, you seriously won’t be disappointed! I can’t stop reading it!

➎ Silpat Premium Non-Stick Silicone Baking Mat Once you start baking with one of these silicone nonstick mats, you won’t go back! They are designed to evenly transfer heat and prevent foods from sticking at temperatures anywhere from -40 to 500°F. I love using mine for cookies, but also for candies and pastries. Let me tell you, it certainly beats buying expensive rolls of parchment paper!

➏ Microplane Classic Zester/Grater Creates perfect flakes of chocolate and zest. I also like to grate fresh cinnamon and nutmeg into desserts with this guy too!

➐ Le Creuset Signature Enameled Cast-Iron 5-½-Quart Round French (Dutch) Oven I know, this is more for cooking, but this dutch oven is so incredibly versatile! I love baking loaves of bread in it, sautéing apples for pie and even baking brownies in it! Plus I use it almost every night for dinner!

➑ Nielsen Massey Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Paste The secret ingredient in all of my baked goods. I hardly use extract anymore! This paste is made from both the seeds and the vanilla pod. It’s thick and syrupy and adds more of an intense flavor to recipes such as ice cream, frosting and pastry cream.

➒ Nordic Ware Natural Aluminum Commercial Baker’s Half Sheet Everyone needs a sturdy baking sheet with sides! This is one of my favorites. It’s durable, easy to clean and the Silpat mat fits perfectly on top of it!

➓ OXO Good Grips 11-Inch Silicone Balloon Whisk I never thought a whisk would change the way I bake- I was wrong! I love using this whisk for just about everything, especially whisking dry ingredients, wet ingredients and for anything on the stovetop. It’s a silicone whisk which means it’s easy to clean, doesn’t rust and wont scratch you cookware/bakeware.
