Peach Cobbler Recipe

for the cobbler:
- 1/2 cup butter melted
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
for the filling:
- 4 cups fresh peaches sliced
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preheat the oven to 375. Pour the melted butter into a 9 x 13 baking dish. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add the milk, and mix until combined. Pour the batter over the melted butter, but do not stir.
Add the peaches, sugar, and lemon juice to a medium saucepan. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly. Pour the peach mixture over the batter, and again do not stir. Sprinkle with the cinnamon.
Bake 40-45 minutes, until the cobbler is golden brown and the peach filling is bubbling. Serve warm.
