Green Monster Smoothie Recipe

A combination of fruits and veggies give this fresh and healthy green monster smoothie its tropical taste!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1/2 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 mango
  • 1 kiwi
  • 1/2 granny smith apple
  • 1/2 medium banana
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 cup ice

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in the bowl of blender, placing the heaviest ones on top. Blend until smooth, about 2 minutes.

Notes

-To plan ahead, prepare fruits and divide between freezer safe bags, place in freezer. That way you have little portions all ready to go when you need them and you can use the other halves of certain fruits!
-I didn't add any sweetener to mine, but sugar, agave or honey can be used.
-I used pineapple greek yogurt in my smoothie which gave it slightly more flavor.
