Monster Munch Recipe

This Monster Munch recipe makes a delicious, sweet and salty treat for Halloween parties. Everyone loves this mix of popcorn, pretzels, candy corn, M&M's, peanuts, Corn Chex cereal, cheerios, candy eyes and white candy melts for coating the mix!

Ingredients

  • 6 cups popcorn
  • 3 cups Corn Chex Cereal
  • 2 cups Pretzel Twists
  • 1 cup peanuts
  • 1 cup Cheerios Cereal
  • 1 cup M&M candies Halloween colors
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1/4 cup candy eyeballs
  • 1 1/2 cups white candy melts

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients except the white candy melts into a large bowl and mix them up.
  • Setup two baking sheets with a piece of wax paper or parchment paper in each of them.
  • Melt the white chocolate melting chips according to the package directions.
  • Pour the candy melts over the mix in the large bowl and use a large spoon to coat all of the mix. The candy melts can be hot, so be careful and use potholders or oven mitts as needed.
  • Spoon the mix onto the baking sheets.
  • Allow the coating to set for 30 minutes.
  • Break up the Monster Munch and place in a serving bowl or individual servings in bowls, tins, paper cups, zip-top bags, etc.
