Grilled Peaches Recipe
Sweet and juicy grilled peaches pair perfectly with vanilla bean ice cream. These are ready to go in just 15 minutes—a perfect treat for summer BBQs!
Servings: 8 halves
- 4 ripe peaches
- canola oil
- 4 tbsp (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- pinch flaky sea salt
- 8 scoops vanilla ice cream
Heat the grill (or a grill pan) to medium high heat.
Brush the peach halves with oil and place on the grill for a 3 minutes, then rotate 90 degrees to continue to cook for an additional 3-4 minutes or until the peaches start to caramelize.
Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, melt the butter and sugar until the sugar has dissolved. Remove and whisk in cinnamon.
Remove the peaches from the grill with a pair of tongs. Brush the butter mixture over top and sprinkle with sea salt.
Serve with a scoop of ice cream in the center of the fruit.
- This recipe also works well with nectarines too!
