  • 4 ripe peaches
  • canola oil
  • 4 tbsp (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • pinch flaky sea salt
  • 8 scoops vanilla ice cream

  • Heat the grill (or a grill pan) to medium high heat.
  • Brush the peach halves with oil and place on the grill for a 3 minutes, then rotate 90 degrees to continue to cook for an additional 3-4 minutes or until the peaches start to caramelize.
  • Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, melt the butter and sugar until the sugar has dissolved. Remove and whisk in cinnamon.
  • Remove the peaches from the grill with a pair of tongs. Brush the butter mixture over top and sprinkle with sea salt.
  • Serve with a scoop of ice cream in the center of the fruit.

  • This recipe also works well with nectarines too!
