Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a baking mat, set aside.
In a medium size mixing bowl, whisk together the oats, almonds, coconut, pecans, wheat germ, flax seeds, cinnamon, and salt.
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, maple syrup, coconut oil, hot water, and vanilla extract.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, mix with a large spoon or spatula to combine. Spread across the prepared baking sheet into an even layer. Place in the oven and bake for 30 minutes, stirring at the 10 minute and 20 minute mark. Remove from the oven add the raisins over top. Press into the granola, then let rest, untouched until completely cool.
Transfer to an airtight container and store at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
