Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh okra
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit (232 degrees Celsius).
  • Rinse your okra and dry it with paper towels.
  • Cut off the stem ends and cut the okra into ¾-inch pieces.
  • Place the okra onto a rimmed baking sheet drizzle with olive oil, paprika, salt, and pepper, and mix well together.
  • Bake the okra in the oven for about 15 minutes until they are slightly browned and tender.
  • Serve and enjoy!

STORE leftover baked okra in an airtight container in the refrigerator; it will stay good for up to 3-5 days.
To REHEAT this dish, you can do so in a pan in your oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit (about 204 degrees Celsius) for 5 minutes, or until everything has warmed through. You can also warm this up in the microwave for 30-45 seconds.
