Skip the oil splatter and make Air Fryer Breaded Shrimp instead. They’re crisped to perfection and ready in minutes, ideal for appetizers or a simple weeknight dish.
In a small bowl or shallow baking dish, combine the flour, salt, and pepper, and whisk together.
In a second small bowl or shallow baking dish, add the eggs and whisk them together.
In a third small bowl or shallow baking dish, add the panko breadcrumbs.
To properly coat your shrimp, cover them in the flour mixture, then dip them in the egg mixture, and finally coat them in the panko bread crumbs. Place them onto a plate. Repeat this step until all shrimp are coated.
Place the shrimp in the fridge for 10 minutes so the coating holds tightly to the shrimp. This is a key step, so don’t skip it!
Preheat your air fryer to 385 degrees Fahrenheit (196 degrees Celsius).
Spray your air fryer with a generous amount of nonstick cooking spray so the shrimp do not stick. Then, working in batches, place the shrimp in a single layer in your air fryer and coat the tops of them generously with cooking spray as well. Set the cook time for 10 minutes, and halfway through (about 5 minutes in), flip the shrimp over and again apply a coating of cooking spray. Repeat this step until all shrimp have been cooked.
While the shrimp are cooking, put together your Old Bay Ranch Dipping Sauce. In a small bowl, combine your ranch dressing and Old Bay seasoning and mix well.
Finally, serve and enjoy!

Notes
To STORE leftover Air Fryer Fried Shrimp, let them cool completely before transferring to an airtight container. They’ll stay good in the refrigerator for 3–5 days. Because these are freshly breaded and air-fried, freezing is not recommended as it can affect the texture. To REHEAT, place the shrimp back into the air fryer at 385 degrees Fahrenheit (196 degrees Celsius) for 2–3 minutes, or until warmed through and crispy again. Avoid microwaving, as it can make the coating soggy.
