Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Add your butter, brown sugar and white sugar into a mixing bowl and beat until fluffy.
Next, add the egg and vanilla and mix until combined.
In a separate bowl, add the almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt and whisk together.
Next, add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and combine until a dough forms.
Then, fold in ¾ cup of the chocolate chips into the batter.
Next, use your hands to roll the dough into balls slightly smaller than a golf ball and place them on your prepared baking sheet.
Then, add a few of the remaining chocolate chips to each cookie dough ball and slightly push the cookie dough down making it flatter.
Bake in the oven for 10 minutes then remove from the oven to cool.
Finally, top with flaky sea salt, serve and enjoy!
