Preheat your grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grate.
Wash the wings well and pat dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl combine the cayenne, salt and pepper and mix.
Next, sprinkle the seasoning on all the chicken wings.
Then, cook the chicken wings on the preheated grill brushing wings with ¼ cup honey while cooking until cooked, about 20-30 minutes.
While the wings are cooking, combine the melted butter, hot sauce, and remaining ¾ cup of honey in a large bowl.
After the wings have cooked, toss them in the hot honey sauce.
Once coated in the sauce return the wings to the grill to set the sauce (optional step).
Finally, serve and enjoy!

This is a spicy recipe. If you are wanting something more mild I would omit the cayenne pepper and increase the honey to hot sauce ratio.You can store these hot honey chicken wings in an airtight container in your fridge for 3-4 days.To reheat you can do so in your oven on a baking sheet with foil on top in an even layer at 350 degrees, or in your microwave until everything has warmed through.
