Generously salt and pepper the pork tenderloin. Turn the Instant Pot on to SAUTE mode. Once HOT, add oil. Brown the pork tenderloin on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Remove the pork tenderloin and rub with dry rub. Add garlic to the Instant Pot and sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in chicken broth to deglaze the pan. Scrape the browned bits from the bottom of the pot. Return the tenderloin.
Place the lid on the Instant Pot and lock. Make sure the pressure valve is switched to sealing. Cook on HIGH with MANUAL pressure for 1 minute. The pork tenderloin will cook as the pressure comes up and down. Allow the pressure to release naturally for 15 minutes.
Switch the valve to venting if needed. Open the Instant Pot and use an instant-read thermometer to check the temperature. The pork tenderloin should read 155 degrees Fahrenheit (68 degrees Celsius) or more.
Remove the pork tenderloin and let it rest, tented with foil on a cutting board for 5 minutes. Slice and serve immediately.
