Melted cheese wrapped in seasoned beef makes this Juicy Lucy extra special. It’s a fun way to switch up dinnertime in just 25 minutes—perfect for cookouts or casual family gatherings.
Preheat your grill to 350–400 degrees Fahrenheit (175–205 degrees Celsius).
In a medium bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
Using a food scale or eyeballing it, separate ground beef into three even chunks, making each ⅓ lb. burger or roughly 5.3 oz.
Take a slice of cheese and fold it into quarters, stacking all four pieces on top of each other.
Divide one of the ground beef balls into two equal portions. Flatten each portion using a burger press, rolling pin, or your hands to form two thin patties. Wrap one patty around the bottom and sides of the folded cheese. Repeat with the second patty and pinch the seams together to secure the cheese inside, ensuring no cheese leaks out.
Once everything is sealed, use the burger press again to form a burger patty for grilling. Repeat these steps for each burger.
Grill for about 7 minutes on each side, or until the burger is cooked to your liking.
Assemble your burger with your favorite toppings and condiments. Serve and enjoy!
