Dinner doesn’t have to be complicated to be amazing. Maple Glazed Salmon comes together quickly with a sweet and savory glaze that enhances the fish’s natural richness.
Whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic, garlic salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
Line a shallow glass baking dish with foil. Place the salmon skin side down in the baking dish and coat evenly with the maple syrup marinade. Cover the dish and refrigerate for 20–30 minutes, turning once about halfway through.
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit (232 degrees Celsius).
Once the oven is preheated, bake salmon fillets uncovered for 15–16 minutes. Next, set the oven to broil and cook for an additional 4–5 minutes or until the salmon easily flakes with a fork.
Notes
To STORE leftover maple-glazed salmon, let it cool to room temperature before placing it in an airtight container. Refrigerate for up to 3 days. For longer storage, wrap the cooled salmon tightly in plastic wrap or foil, then place it in a freezer-safe bag or container and FREEZE for up to 4 months. Thaw in the fridge overnight before reheating. To REHEAT, place the salmon on a foil-lined baking sheet and warm it in a 350-degree Fahrenheit (175-degree Celsius) oven or toaster oven until heated through. Avoid microwaving, as it can dry out the salmon.
