In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Once cooled, chop into small crumbles.
Pour out a majority of the bacon grease leaving about 1 Tablespoon in the skillet and sauté the yellow onion until softened.
Next, add the beans, apple pie filling, onion, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and 3/4 of the bacon crumbles to a crock pot or slow cooker and mix everything together.
Cook on low heat for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Finally, top with the remaining bacon crumbles, serve and enjoy!

You can store any leftovers of your beans in an airtight container in your fridge for up to 4 days. For longer storage you can freeze these beans in an airtight container for up to 2 months.To reheat you can do so on your stove top over medium heat, or in a microwave until everything has warmed through.
