Cherry Dump Cake Recipe
This Cherry Dump Cake is the easiest cake you will ever make! All it takes is 5 ingredients and 1 hour and you have a crumbly, cherry-filled cake at your fingertips!

Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 2 cans cherry pie filling 21 oz cans
- 1 tsp vanilla extract divided
- 10 Tbsp butter melted
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans optional
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Stir in ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract into each of the cherry pie filling cans and stir together.
- Pour the cans of cherry pie filling into the bottom of the baking dish.
- Sprinkle the pecans over the top of the cherry pie filling.
- Next, pour the cake mix evenly over the top of the filling and pecans.
- Slowly pour the melted butter over the top of the cake mix as evenly as possible.
- Bake in the oven for 50 - 60 minutes until the topping is golden brown.
- Let the cake cool, then serve and enjoy!
