Notes
-I used powdered peanut butter for less fat and more protein.-Freeze the yogurt in ice cube trays to make the smoothie extra thick and creamy.-Add 1 teaspoon ground flaxseed for a healthy boost.*I used dark cocoa powder for a deeper chocolate flavor. This Chocolate Banana Smoothie is best enjoyed fresh right after blending, while it’s cold and creamy. If you have leftovers, pour them into an airtight jar or bottle and STORE in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Shake or stir well before drinking, as some separation may occur. You can also FREEZE the smoothie in popsicle molds, a freezer-safe container, or pour it into an ice cube tray for later use. Blend the frozen cubes with a splash of milk for a quick smoothie remake.
