Add a twist to your regular Rice Krispie treats with these Lucky Charms Bars, combining colorful marshmallows and crunchy cereal to create a chewy, fun dessert.
5cupminiature marshmallowsapproximately 1 - 10 oz. bag
pinchsea salt
1/4tspvanilla extract
2cupRice Krispies cereal
4cupLucky Charms cereal
1 1/2cupminiature marshmallows
Instructions
Prepare a 9×9-inch square pan by buttering the bottom and sides; set aside.
In a large non-stick pot set over medium-low heat, combine the butter, 5 cups of mini marshmallows, and salt. Stir continuously with a rubber spatula until smooth and shiny.
Remove from heat and mix in the vanilla, cereal, and remaining marshmallows (they will melt slightly, which is fine). Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and press with the spatula to create an even layer.
Place in the refrigerator to chill for 10–15 minutes before cutting and serving.
Notes

You can also FREEZE them for up to 2 months.When you're ready to enjoy them, simply thaw at room temperature or REHEAT in the microwave for a few seconds.
