Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Then drain the pasta and set it aside.
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
In a large skillet or Dutch oven heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes on each side until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit and you get good coloring on the outside of the chicken. Then transfer the chicken to a plate and set aside.
Using the same skillet add in the butter, once it has melted add in the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Next, add the flour to make a paste.
From there, whisk in the chicken broth, heavy cream, and parmesan cheese.
Stir in the sun-dried tomatoes, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
Simmer the sauce for a few minutes to thicken.
Next add the cooked pasta and coat it in the sauce.
Finally top with the chicken breast, parmesan cheese, and fresh basil leaves then serve and enjoy!
