How to Make Sausage Orzo
Step 1: In a large skillet or Dutch Oven over medium-high heat, add in the sausage and cook for 5 minutes.

Step 2: Next, add in the onions and continue cooking until the sausage has browned and the onions have softened.

Step 3: Stir in the garlic, red pepper flakes, and orzo and stir for 30 seconds.

Step 4: Next, add the chicken broth and heavy cream.

Step 5: Once the dish starts to simmer, continue cooking for 10 minutes uncovered, stirring often so the orzo doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pot. Note: You want this to be a gentle bubble and not a rolling boil.

Step 6: Then, turn off the heat, add in the parmesan and spinach and stir.

Step 7: Cover the pot for 5 minutes, then serve, and enjoy!
