Instructions

  • Prepare a 9×9-inch square pan by buttering the bottom and sides; set aside.
  • In a large non-stick pot set over medium-low heat, combine the butter, 5 cups of mini marshmallows, and salt. Stir continuously with a rubber spatula until smooth and shiny.
  • Remove from heat and mix in the vanilla, cereal, and remaining marshmallows (they will melt slightly, which is fine). Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and press with the spatula to create an even layer.
  • Place in the refrigerator to chill for 10–15 minutes before cutting and serving.

NOTES

To STORE your Lucky Charms Treat Bars, place them in an airtight container to maintain their chewy texture and freshness. They will stay good for up to 1 week at room temperature. If you want to keep them longer, store them in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. You can also FREEZE them for up to 2 months.
When you’re ready to enjoy them, simply thaw at room temperature or REHEAT in the microwave for a few seconds. Just be sure not to overheat them, or they may lose their delicious chewy consistency.
