How to Make Dark Chocolate Cookies
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line two cookie sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats and set aside.
Step 2: In a large bowl of a stand mixer with the paddle attachment or using an electric mixer, add the softened butter and sugars and beat until soft and fluffy.

Step 3: Next, add the eggs and vanilla and mix until combined.

Step 4: Then, add the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt and stir until a dough forms.

Step 5: Add 2 cups of chocolate chunks and using a spatula, fold them into the cookie dough.

Step 6: Next, using a 1 Tbsp size cookie scoop, scoop cookie dough balls and place them onto the prepared baking sheets.

Step 7: Then, use the extra ½ cup of chocolate chunks and place chocolate chunks all over the top of the cookie dough balls.

Step 8: Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes until done then set aside to cool.
