How to Make Shrimp Spaghetti
Step 1: In a large pot of boiling salted water cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions, drain pasta and reserve 1 cup of pasta water. Set aside.
Step 2: In a large skillet over medium high heat, melt 2 Tablespoons of butter. Add in the shrimp, salt, crushed red pepper and cook until shrimp is tender and a pink opaque color, about 3 minutes. Then remove the shrimp from the pan into a bowl and set aside.
Step 3: Add the other 2 Tablespoons of butter into the pan along with the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Step 4: Then add in the lemon juice, pasta water, parmesan cheese, and flour and stir to combine.
Step 5: Next, add in the cooked pasta and shrimp and toss everything together with the garlic butter sauce.
Step 6: Finally, serve in a bowl, top with additional fresh parmesan cheese and fresh parsley and enjoy!

Not at all! You can use any pasta you would like. I would recommend it being a long pasta that is similar like angel hair, linguini, fettuccini or something similar.
Although this recipe uses crushed red pepper flakes, since it is only ½ of a teaspoon it is really mild and anyone can enjoy it. If you are a spicy food lover I would recommend doubling or even tripling the amount of red pepper flakes to give it that spicy taste you are craving.
Storage Information
You can store any leftovers from this garlic shrimp spaghetti in an airtight container in your fridge for 3-4 days. You can also freeze this recipe for up to 1 month.
