These Patriotic Cookies are a fun and festive way to celebrate holidays like the Fourth of July, Memorial Day, and Labor Day. Decorated in vibrant red, white, and blue, these cookies are made with a classic cookie dough and filled with white chocolate chips, and holiday colored M&Ms and sprinkles. These are certain to be a party favorite!

White Chocolate Chips: Another chocolate addition that also adds a pop of white to these cookies.

Vanilla Extract: Helps enhance the overall flavor of the cookies.

How to Make Patriotic Cookies

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.

Step 2: In a medium bowl add the flour, baking soda, and salt and whisk together. Set aside.

Step 3: In a large bowl with a handheld mixer or in the bowl of a stand mixer add the butter and sugar and cream together for 2-3 minutes.

Step 4: Next, add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix until combined.

Step 5: Add the dry ingredients into the wet and mix until a dough forms.

Step 6: Next fold in the M&Ms, white chocolate chips, and sprinkles until fully combined.

Step 7: Scoop the dough into a heaping tablespoon, roll into a cookie dough ball, and place onto your prepared baking sheets. Add additional mix ins on the top of the cookie dough balls if desired.

Step 8: Bake in the oven for 8-12 minutes until the sides have a slightly golden color.

Step 9: Finally serve and enjoy!

Can I color the cookie dough of my patriotic cookies?

Yes! If you are wanting color in the dough of these USA cookies I recommend using red and/or blue gel colors to give them an additional pop of color.
