These Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadillas are sure to be a family favorite. Butter – Used as your oil in the pan. You can also substitute in olive oil if you do not have butter.

Cheddar Cheese – Melds perfectly with the chicken, bacon and ranch. Note you can also use any cheese you prefer.

Jalapeno – A flavorful addition that adds a little heat to these quesadillas.

How to Make Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadillas

Step 1: In a large skillet over medium heat melt 1 tablespoon of butter.

Step 2: Once melted, place a tortilla in the skillet.

Step 3: Working quickly, add ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese evenly across the tortilla. Followed by ½ cup chicken, 4 slices of crumbled bacon, ⅛ cup of diced onion and ½ of the diced jalapeños.

Step 4: Then, add another ½ cup of cheddar cheese on top of all the toppings along with a light drizzle of ranch dressing.

Step 5: Add the top tortilla and cover the pan with a lid to allow the cheese to melt for 3-5 minutes.

Step 6: Once the bottom side of the quesadilla is golden brown, using a large spatula, flip the quesadilla and cook the other tortilla for 2-3 minutes uncovered until all the cheese has melted and the tortilla is golden and crispy.

Step 7: Repeat the process for the second quesadilla. Then serve and enjoy!

Some dipping sauces I would recommend for these quesadillas would be ranch, salsa, sour cream, or even guacamole.

What spices can I add to these chicken quesadillas?

  • 8 slices bacon - cooked and crumbled

  • 1/4 cup white onion - diced
