These Italian Sliders are the ultimate crowd-pleasing sandwich recipe, layered with savory deli meats, melty provolone cheese, and soft Hawaiian rolls brushed with a buttery Italian seasoning topping. Baked until golden and gooey, they’re packed with bold Italian flavor in every bite.

I love making sliders because they can feed a whole crowd or even give you meals for multiple nights, which is always a win. For more flavorful slider recipes you have to check out my Ham and Swiss Sliders, and Instant Pot Buffalo Chicken Sliders.

Recipe Ingredients

Ingredients for Italian sliders.

Hawaiian Rolls – I used my homemade Hawaiian Dinner Rolls, but you can also use ones from the store as well.

Pepperoncini – To give a little hint of spice into these sliders.

Provolone Cheese – A smooth Italian cheese that melts and holds everything together.

For a full list of ingredients and amounts see the recipe card below.

Variations

Veggies – If you are wanting different veggies on these little sliders I recommend banana peppers, red onions, or even shredded lettuce. However, I would add the lettuce after the slider bake.

Cheese – Other cheese options for these sliders would be mozzarella cheese, Monterey jack, Swiss, or even Havarti.
