I love all things cookies and cream. Whether its my Oreo Cake, Oreo Mud Pie, or this scrumptious Oreo Dip I can never get enough! With kids Oreos are one of those snacks that are frequently in our pantry so naturally I had to find a new way to serve up Oreos.

This dessert dip is smooth, creamy and addictive just like my 3-Ingredient Peanut Butter Yogurt Dip.

Ingredients for Oreo Dip.

There’s only five simple ingredients to this sweet dip so let’s quickly break them down.

Oreos – You simply cannot have an Oreo dip without Oreos!

Cream Cheese, Cool Whip, and Confectioner’s Sugar – This is our base for the dip, sweet, sugary, with a little bit of tart from the cream cheese.

Vanilla – A little hint of that vanilla flavor that ties everything together.

What to dip in Oreo dessert dip?

Don’t get me wrong, you can absolutely eat this dip with a spoon. But I do recommend serving it with some dippers. Ones I would recommend would be, Oreos, Strawberries, Vanilla Wafers, Apple Slices, and Graham Crackers. If you are like me and like a good sweet and salty combination I would also recommend potato chips and pretzels as well.

Can I make this Oreo dip ahead of time?

Yes. Whether it is the day before or morning of, you can absolutely make it ahead of time and keep it in an airtight container in your fridge until you are ready to serve. One note is that I wouldn’t recommend making it more than a day before to keep it as fresh as possible.

Can I make this recipe with other Oreos?

Absolutely! If the classic Chocolate Sandwich Cookie isn’t your favorite you can use other Oreos to concoct your dip. Some I would recommend would be Golden Oreos or Mint Oreos if you want a fresh flavor in there. Or any other flavors of Oreos you prefer.

How to Make Oreo Dip

Assemble your ingredients. For exact amounts see the recipe card below.

Step 1: Place the Oreos in a zip top bag and using a rolling pin crush the cookies into small pieces.

Step 2: Next, in a stand mixer or using a hand mixer combine the cream cheese, vanilla, and confectioner’s sugar in a large mixing bowl until smooth.

Step 3: Using a spatula, gently fold in the cool whip into the cream cheese mixture.

Step 4: Then fold in the crushed Oreos.

Step 5: Finally serve with your favorite dippers and enjoy!

Storage Information

You can store this sweet snack in an airtight container in your fridge for 2-3 days. Since this recipe is so quick and easy to whip up I do not recommend freezing it.
