Candied nuts in various jars

We are in the midst of the holiday season. And when it comes to nuts and the holidays, I am sure you see a lot of pecans, walnuts, peanuts, and even almonds. This is precisely why I wanted to use cashews. Cashews are one of my favorite nuts and in my opinion, are very underrated. They are salty and have a great crunch and flavor to them and are the perfect base for a delicious coating of cinnamon and sugar. All you need is one hour to put this together and then you will have a delicious sweet and salty treat you can pop into your mouth and enjoy!

Where do Cashews come from?

Did you know that cashews actually grow on trees? Not only that, but they are also harvested from a cashew apple which is a fruit that is native to Brazil. This is one of the reasons that cashews are more expensive compared to other nuts, they take more of a process to be harvested.
