How to make Dairy Free Waffles

Step 1: Preheat your waffle iron. Then, in a large mixing bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and ¼ teaspoon salt.

Step 2: Next, add in the almond milk, 6 tablespoons of vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract into the dry ingredients and whisk everything until smooth.

Step 3: Lightly spray your waffle iron with cooking spray if needed, pour the batter onto the waffle iron, and cook your waffles according to your waffle maker directions.

Any toppings you prefer! Some I would recommend would be butter, pure maple syrup, fresh fruit such as strawberries, sliced banana, fresh berries, chocolate chips, peanut butter, whipped cream, or even a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Do I have to use Almond milk as my substitute in these dairy free waffles?

No. Almond milk is what I had on hand and they came out great! You can use others such as coconut milk, soy milk, oat milk, or any other non-dairy milk you prefer.
