This Mango Habanero salsa is a flavor filled dip that everyone will love. Spicy habaneros combined with sweet mangoes roasted in the oven with tomatoes, and onion combine to make your new favorite salsa.

Don’t be worried about this habanero mango salsa recipe being too spicy. Although habaneros are hot, when it is combined with the rest of the ingredients it is more of a medium level of spice. This recipe is also customizable.

Habanero Peppers – Small orange peppers that pack a punch when it comes to heat.

Roma Tomatoes – A classic base to any salsa recipe.

Recipe Variations

Spice Level: This recipe creates a mild to medium salsa. If you want it more mild, use 2 habaneros, for medium use 3 or 4. If you are wanting a salsa with a really spicy kick keep adding in habaneros until you reach your desired level of heat.

Onion – I use a yellow onion for this recipe but you can use a red onion or white onion if that is your preference.

How to Make Mango Habanero Salsa

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2: Place the tomatoes, mango, habanero peppers, and onion on the prepared baking sheet and coat with olive oil and a pinch of salt.

Step 4: Next, add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and blend to desired consistency.

Wear Gloves – When you are cutting your spicy habanero peppers be sure to wear gloves to protect your hands.

Be Gentle When Blending – If you are someone who likes a chunkier salsa be sure to blend lightly until you reach your desired consistency.

    I made this for our family Fantasy Football draft and everyone LOVED it! I’m a wimp when it comes to spice but I only used 2 habanero peppers and it wasn’t spicy it was just super flavorful! Love it!
