Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

This boldly flavored Roasted Red Pepper Hummus is smooth, creamy and makes a scrumptious dip or spread. The best part is that it all comes together in less than 10 minutes!

Hummus is like another condiment in our house. We use this recipe and our Homemade Garlic Hummus all the time! The texture is so smooth that it works great as a spread on sandwiches, buns, and wraps. It also makes a great dip whether you are dipping pita chips or pita bread, or even vegetables like carrots and celery.

What I love about this recipe is how the roasted red peppers really amp up the flavor giving it a smoky and slightly sweet addition that I love adding onto my Greek Grilled Chicken Pitas.

Recipe Ingredients

Ingredients for red pepper hummus.

Chickpeas – I love garbanzo beans. They are packed with protein and meld to any flavors you combine them with like my Chickpea Curry.

Roasted Red Peppers – Using roasted peppers adds in a smoky savory taste to the hummus.

Tahini – Tahini is the result of grinding up sesame seeds into a paste. It gives this recipe a light nutty flavor.
